Judges, 6

21. Then the angel of the LORD put forth the end of the staff that [was] in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and there rose up fire out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the angel of the LORD departed out of his sight.

Judges 6 tells the story of Gideon, a young man who was called by God to lead the Israelites in the fight against the Midianites. The message of courage and strength is a message similar to that God gave Gideon in judges 6.

2 Corinthians 12:9: "But he said to me, 'My grace is enough for you, for my power is perfect in weakness.' Therefore, I will glory even more happily in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ rests on me. " This verse speaks of how God uses human weaknesses to demonstrate His power. Gideon was a weak and incapable man, but God used him to defeat the Midianites, thus showing his power and his grace.

1 Samuel 17:45: "David said to the Philistine, 'You come against me with a sword, spear and dart, but I go against you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the hosts of Israel, whom you challenged. '"This verse speaks of the importance of trusting God in times of difficulty. David trusted God to defeat Goliath, and Gideon also trusted God to lead the Israelites against the Midianites. Both men believed that God was with them and could do great things through Him.
