John 15:18-19: "If the world hates you, know that, first than you, you hated me. Philippians 1:29: "For you were granted to you, in relation to Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer by Him." This verse shows that suffering and persecution are part of the Christian's so -called, and that it is a grace granted to them in relation to Christ.
