Exodus 1 is the beginning of the book of Exodus, where the oppression of the Israelites in Egypt is reported and the beginning of God's plan to free them. Exodus 2:24: "And God heard his moan, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob." This verse shows that God heard the cry of the Israelites and remembered his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, promising to free them from Egypt.

Deuteronomy 26:7: "And we cry to the Lord God of our parents; and the Lord heard our voice, and saw our affliction, and our work, and our oppression." Here we see that the Israelites cried to the Lord during their oppression in Egypt, and God heard them and saw His affliction and oppression.

Psalm 81:6: "I took his load from his shoulder, his hands were free from the baskets." This verse speaks of the liberation of the Israelites of Egypt, where God took the burden of the oppression of their shoulders and set them free to have free hands.

Exodus 3:7: "And the Lord said, I have seen carefully the affliction of my people, who is in Egypt, and I have heard his cry because of his exactors, because I knew their pains." Isaiah 43:1: "But now the Lord says that he created you, O Jacob, and formed you, O Israel: Do not fear, because I released you; I called you by your name, you are mine." This verse speaks of Israel's liberation and redemption by the Lord, who called them by name and promised not to abandon them.
