18. so that no one will know you are fasting except your Father who sees all that is done in secret; and your Father who sees all that is done in secret will reward you.

It is not the more important life than food and the body more important than clothing? " Jesus teaches about the importance of trusting God to meet daily needs and not worry about the future.
