5. But the prophet Gad said to David: "Do not remain in the refuge. Leave, and go to the land of Judah." And so David left and went to the forest of Hereth.

" These verses encourage believers not to give in to greed and to trust the Lord as his helper and protector, just as David did during his Saul escape.
