15. Yet these men were very good to us. We were done no injury, neither did we miss anything all the while we were living among them during our stay in the open country.

Ecclesiastes 7:9: "Do not have a rush in your spirit to anger, because wrath rests within the fools." David shows wisdom by refusing to retaliate against Nabal and his men, although he was insulted and disrespected.

Romans 12:19: "You shall not avenge yourselves, beloved, but give the wrath of God, for it is written, My is revenge; I will reward, say the Lord." David trusts God to deal with those who offend him, instead of seeking revenge on his own.
