7. "Be brave and steadfast; do not be afraid or dismayed because of the king of Assyria and all the throng that is coming with him, for there is more with us than with him.

2 Chronicles 32 tells the story of Senaqueribe, king of Assyria, besieting Jerusalem and challenging the God of Israel. This verse describes how God sent an angel to destroy the Assyrian army and save Jerusalem. It was a powerful demonstration of the power of God and his faithfulness to his people.

Romans 8:31: "What do we say, therefore, to these things? If God is for us who will be against us?" This verse talks about the certainty of victory when you trust God. Hezekiah and the people of Judah trusted God and were victorious against the Assyrian army. It is a memory that God is always on the side of his children and that nothing can defeat those who trust him.
