Jeremiah, 4

22. Fools my people are, they know me not; Senseless children they are, having no understanding; They are wise in evil, but know not how to do good.

Isaiah 55:6-7: "Seek the Lord as long as one can find, invoke him while he is near. " This verse encourages people to seek God as long as there is time, abandoning their sinful ways and turning to the Lord, who is abundant in forgiving.
