Ezekiel, 7

11. Iniquity has risen up into a rod of impiety. There shall be nothing left of them, and of their people, and of the sound of them. And there shall be no rest for them.

Ezekiel 7 describes the arrival of the day of judgment on Jerusalem because of its disobedience and sin. The verses selected below reflect God's judgment on the people of Jerusalem and their lack of repentance:

Isaiah 13:6: "Shout of pain, for the day of the Lord is close; as a destruction coming from the Almighty, he will come!" This verse announces the arrival of the day of the Lord, a day of judgment for those who rebelled against God and His will.
