Numbers 2 details the organization of the Israeli camp in the desert. Each tribe is attributed to a specific position around the meeting tent, with Judah, Issachar and Zebulom camping in the east, Rúben, Simeon and Gade in the South, Efraim, Manasseh and Benjamin in the West, and Dã, Aser and Naphtali in the North.
