Ezekiel 14 talks about divine rebuke to the idolatrous leaders of Israel who sought guidance from the prophet while still kept their idols in their hearts. Jeremiah 7:9-10: "You make theft, homicides, adultery and false oaths, incense in incense to Baal, and walk after other gods you have never known. And then you come, and introduce you to me, in this house, which is called By my name, and say, were we released, to make all these abominations?
