52. An unremitting war was waged against the Philistines during Saul's lifetime. When Saul saw any strong or brave man, he took him into his service.

" This verse speaks of the importance of trust in God and divine leadership, just as Jonathan entrusted in God's leadership to his battle against the Philistines.
