7. I will set my face against them; they have escaped from the fire, but the fire shall devour them. Thus you shall know that I am the LORD, when I turn my face against them.

Ezekiel 15 compares the city of Jerusalem to a useless vine and warns of God's judgment. The verses chosen in order of proximity to the theme of the chapter are:

John 15:5: "I am the vine; you are the sticks. Who remains in me and me in him, gives a lot of fruit; for without me you can do it."
