Isaiah 13 talks about God's judgment about Babylon and neighboring peoples because of their idolatry and oppression. The following verses relate to the themes of the chapter:

Jeremiah 50:15: "Shout at her everywhere! She surrendered; her columns fell, her walls were overthrown. This is the punishment of the Lord; let us get to her; let her what she deserves!" This verse shows God's judgment upon Babylon, fulfilling Isaiah's prophecy 13.

Isaiah 14:22-23: "I will get up against them, says the Lord of hosts, and will eliminate the name and the rest of Babylon, his descendants and his sons, says the Lord. " This verse shows that God is a righteous and vengeful God that will not allow injustice and oppression to remune.
