Ezra, 7

8. And he came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, which [was] in the seventh year of the king.

In Ezra 7, the book presents Ezra, a priest and scribe who receives a commission from the Persian king to lead a group of Jews back to Jerusalem and restore worship to God. Nehemiah 8:9: "Do not mourn or cry; for all the people cried, listening to the words of the law." God's Word brings conviction to the people, and they cry and repent of their sins.
