21. Through him, you have been faithful to God, who raised him up from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope would be in God.

1 Thessalonians 4:3-5: "God's will is that you are sanctified: to refrain from sexual immorality. " Holiness of life is a recurring theme in the Bible, and here we see the need to control our desires to live honorably.

Hebrews 12:14: "Seek to live in peace with all and sanctification; without it no one will see the Lord." Sanctification is again mentioned as something essential to see God and live in peace with the people around us.
