Psalm 55:12-14: "Because it was not an enemy that broke me; then I would have endured it; it was not what I hated me that I was amusing against me, because I would have hidden me; Guide and my inner friend. Psalm 59:1-3: "Deliver me, my God, from my enemies; defend me from those who get up against me. Deliver me from those who practice iniquity, and save me from bloodthirsty men. " David calls for God for protection in the face of the threat represented by Absalom and his followers.

Psalm 63:1: "O God, you are my God; I will soon seek you; my soul is thirsty for you; my flesh desires you a lot in a tired dry land where there is no water." This psalm expresses David's devotion to God, even in the face of the difficulties faced in Absalom's escape.
