16. And I will speak my judgments with them, concerning all the wickedness of those who have forsaken me, and who have offered libations to strange gods, and who have adored the work of their own hands.

Like Paul and Jeremiah, God calls his servants to be his witnesses before the world.

2 Timothy 1:7: "For God has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power, love and balance." This verse emphasizes that although we may feel intimidated or fearful in fulfilling God's will, He has given us the spirit of power and love to overcome these difficulties. It is a reminder that, like Jeremiah, we can trust God to enable us and strengthen ourselves in our mission.
