Chapter 5 of Ephesians deals with Christian conduct in relation to love, purity and submission. 1 Thessalonians 5:23: "And the same God of peace sanctifies you in everything; and all your Spirit, and soul, and body be fully dismantled for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." This verse highlights the importance of sanctification and purity, themes that Paul also emphasizes in Ephesians 5:3-14.

Romans 12:5: "So we, who are many, are one body in Christ, but individually we are members of each other." Paul urges Christians in Ephesians 5:21 to subject each other in the fear of Christ, recognizing that they are all members of the same body. This verse in Romans 12 also emphasizes the unity of the body of Christ, which is composed of many different members.
