4. So he went forth from the land of the Chaldeans and settled in Haran. And from there, after his father died, he made him migrate to this land where you now dwell.

Acts of the Apostles 7 narrates Stephen's speech before being stoned to death. Jeremiah 7:2-7 - Hear the word of the Lord, all the people of Judah who enters these doors to worship the Lord. Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: 'Correct the way they are following and them Things they are doing, and I will make them dwell in this place. Do not trust in misleading words, saying, 'This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord!'. Psalm 110:1 - "The Lord said to my Lord, 'Sit you to my right until I put your enemies as a dais to your feet." Stephen closes his speech by pointing to the exaltation of Jesus, who is at the right of God and is the true leader and savior.
