Acts of the Apostles 2 describes the day of Pentecost, when Jesus' disciples received the Holy Spirit and began to speak of strange languages, attracting a multitude that was amazed. Peter then preached a powerful sermon, explaining that what was happening was the realization of the prophet of the prophet Joel over the last days. Joel 2:28-29: "And after that I will pour out of my Spirit upon all peoples. Your children and their daughters will prophesy, the old will have dreams, young people will have visions.
