Exodus 2 reports the birth of Moses and his escape from Egypt, where he was eventually raised at the house of a priest in Midian. This verse highlights Moses' choice to renounce the comfort and privilege of Pharaoh's house to be with his enslaved people and suffer because of them, just as Jesus renounced his divine privileges to suffer and die for the sins of the world.

Exodus 3:10: "Now go, for I am sending him to Pharaoh to take my people out of Egypt, the Israelites."
