7. Babylon was a golden cup in Yahweh's hand, a cup which made the whole earth drunk. The nations drank her wine, and they have become mad.

Jeremiah 50:46: "Listen to the cry of Babylon; the sound of great destruction comes from the land of the Chaldeans." This verse speaks of the imminent destruction of Babylon and the cry that will be heard throughout the earth.
