Chapter 17 of the book of 2 kings describes the fall of the kingdom of Israel, which had moved away from God and adopted pagan practices. As a result, the people were deported to Assyria and other nations were seated in their land. Below are five verses from other Bible books that relate to the topics addressed in 2 Kings 17:
