Deuteronomy, 2

7. Think of all the blessings that Yahweh has bestowed on you in all our work and how he has been present in your journey through the desert. Yahweh has been with you for forty years, and never have you been in want.

Deuteronomy 2:37 - "Only with the land of the children of Ammon you have not arrived, neither to the entire Ribeira Jaboque, nor to the cities in the mountain, nor anywhere the Lord our God has forbidden." This verse resembles the Israelites that they should not fight the children of Ammon, for God did not give them this land.
