Psalms, 93

1. The LORD is king, robed with majesty; the LORD is robed, girded with might. The world will surely stand in place, never to be moved.

2. Your throne stands firm from of old; you are from everlasting, LORD.

3. The flood has raised up, LORD; the flood has raised up its roar; the flood has raised its pounding waves.

4. More powerful than the roar of many waters, more powerful than the breakers of the sea, powerful in the heavens is the LORD.

5. Your decrees are firmly established; holiness belongs to your house, LORD, for all the length of days.

Isaiah 6:1: "In the year King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a tall and exalted throne, and the flap of his dress filled the temple." This verse describes a vision of Isaiah in which he sees the Lord sitting on a throne, which is an image similar to the psalmist's description in Psalm 93.

Revelation 19:6: "Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the sound of many waters and strong thunder that cried out: Hallelujah! For the Lord reigns our God, the Almighty." This verse portrays a scene in heaven in which a crowd celebrates God's sovereignty and the fact that he reigns forever.
