7. Therefore, send to me a learned man, who knows how to work with gold and silver, with brass and iron, with purple, scarlet, and hyacinth, and who knows how to carve engravings, along with these artisans that I have with me in Judea and Jerusalem, whom my father David has prepared.

1 Kings 7:13-14: "He sent him to work in gold, silver and bronze, in cut, in claw stones, and in carpentry, and in all kinds of artistic work. And it was found in his art a great skill in working with gold, silver and bronze. " These verses describe Hiram, the artisan sent by Hiram, king of Tire, to work on the construction of the temple. He had skills in working with gold, silver, bronze and other materials, which would be important for the construction of the Solomon temple.
