17. ‘And this shall be: in the last days, says the Lord, I will pour out, from my Spirit, upon all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. And your youths shall see visions, and your elders shall dream dreams.

Acts of the Apostles 2 describes the day of Pentecost, when Jesus' disciples received the Holy Spirit and began to speak of strange languages, attracting a multitude that was amazed. Acts of the Apostles 4:31: "After they prayed, the place where they were gathered were treated; they were full of the Holy Spirit and boldly announced the Word of God." This verse describes another moment when the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak boldly about Jesus.

Ephesians 5:18: "Do not be drunk with wine, which leads to liberation, but let themselves be filled with the Spirit." Here Paul is encouraging Christians to be filled with the Holy Spirit rather than seeking satisfaction in worldly things.
