3. And you, O Lord, have known me well. You have seen me, and you have tested my heart with you. Gather them together like a flock for the sacrifice and sanctify them for the day of slaughter.

Jeremiah 12 deals with God's righteousness and the prophet's understanding of the suffering of the righteous before the wicked. " This verse talks about the righteousness of God, which will return to tribulation those who caused tribulation to the righteous.

James 5:7-8: "He thirsts, brothers, patients until the coming of the Lord. " James encourages patience and perseverance in moments of suffering, trusting in the coming of the Lord and his final justice.
