Judges chapter 15 reports how Samson took revenge on the Philistines for killing his wife and his father -in -law. Matthew 5:38-39: "You have heard that it has been said, I look at an eye, and tooth for a tooth. But I say unto you, that you do not resist evil; but if anyone hits you on the right face, it also offers him the other ; " This verse presents the counterpart of what was mentioned in Exodus 21:24, where Jesus teaches not to retaliate and offer the other face.

Galatians 6:7: "You shall not err: God is not mocking; for all that man sow will also reap." This verse teaches that we reap what we plant, and that we must be careful with our attitudes and actions, as they have consequences.
