3. “Send men, who may examine the land of Canaan, which I will give to the sons of Israel, one from the rulers of each tribe.”

Joshua 14:12: "Now give me this mountainous region that the Lord promised me that day. " In this verse, Caleb, one of the spies they trusted in God and encouraged the people of Israel to invade Canaan, resembles Joshua of God's promise and reaffirms their faith in divine help to conquer the earth.
