9. Amaziah answered the man of God, "And what about the four tons of silver I have given the Israelite soldiers?" The man of God replied, "Yahweh can give you far more than that."

Chapter 25 of 2 Chronicles tells the story of Amaziah, king of Judah, and his war against Edom. He hired Israeli soldiers to help him, but a prophet warned him that God was not with them.
