4. When they had gone but were still not far from the city, Joseph said to his steward, "Go quickly after those men and when you have caught up with them, say this: Why have you repaid good with evil?

Jeremiah 17:10: "I, the Lord, squad my heart and provoke thoughts; and this to give each one according to his ways and according to the fruit of his actions." This verse talks about how God examines our hearts and judges us according to our actions.
