Chapter 13 of 1 Maccabees continues the narrative of the war between Judas Macabeus and the enemies of the people of Israel. Ephesians 6:11: "Coat of all God's armor, that you may be firm against the shrewd cunning of the devil." This verse shows the importance of spiritual preparation for battle and how important it is to have strong armor to fight spiritual enemies.
