11. Jephte therefore went with the princes of Galaad, and all the people made him their prince. And Jephte spoke all his words before the Lord in Maspha.

Chapter 11 of the Judges Book tells the story of Jephtha, a brave warrior who was chosen as leader of his people in a time of conflict and oppression. " These verses introduce the vote of Jephthah and the tragedy he will eventually cause.

2 Corinthians 5:7: "For we live by faith, and not for what we see." This verse talks about the importance of faith in God, even when things do not seem to make sense or are difficult to understand, as was the case with Jephthah in their difficult situation.
