4. Who answered, and said to them that stood before him, saying: Take away the filthy garments from him. And he said to him: Behold I have taken away thy iniquity, and have clothed thee with change of garments.

This verse talks about the purification that the blood of Christ brings to the conscience of believers, removing guilt and allowing them to serve God.

1 John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and purify us from all injustice." This verse highlights the importance of God's confession and promise to forgive them and purify of injustice.
