11. And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go [to be] with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom.

Jeremiah 23:5: "Days will come, the Lord declares, in which I will raise a righteous descendant, a king who will reign with wisdom and do what is just and correct on earth." This verse speaks of the prophecy that Jesus, descended from David, would reign as a righteous and wise king.
