2. "Send men to reconnoiter the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the Israelites. You shall send one man from each ancestral tribe, all of them princes."

Joshua 14:12: "Now give me this mountainous region that the Lord promised me that day. You heard that day that the anachins are there and that the cities are great and fortified, but with the Lord by my side, I I will expel them, as he promised. " In this verse, Caleb, one of the spies they trusted in God and encouraged the people of Israel to invade Canaan, resembles Joshua of God's promise and reaffirms their faith in divine help to conquer the earth.
