24. And David consoled his wife Bathsheba. And entering to her, he slept with her. And she bore a son, and he called his name Solomon, and the Lord loved him.

2 Samuel 12 Reports the confrontation of the prophet Nathan with King David, after he had committed adultery with Bathsheba and ordered to kill Uriah, his husband. This verse highlights the gravity of adultery and the destructive consequence it brings to the soul of the person.
