3. And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long [are] ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?

Isaiah 54:2: "The place of your tent, and extend the curtains of your dwellings; do not hinder it; your strings, and fix your stakes well." This verse talks about growth and expansion. In Joshua 18, the distribution of land allowed the tribes of Israel to settle into new areas and grow as a nation.
