St. Matthew 24 is known as the "Mount of Olives Speech", in which Jesus talks about the signs of the end times and his return. He describes the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem, wars, fames, earthquakes, persecution and the spread of the gospel all over the world. Matthew 24:31: "And he will send his angels with a great trumpet clangor, who will gather the chosen from the four winds, from one end of the heavens." Jesus describes the coming of the angels to gather God's chosen ones at the end of time.

Revelation 22:20: "He who testifies these things says, Certainly, I come without delay. Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!" The book of Revelation ends with an appeal to the coming of Jesus, whom Christians await to come and reign in glory.
