28. A teacher of the Law had been listening to this discussion and admired how Jesus answered them. So he came up and asked him, "Which commandment is the first of all?"

In St. Mark 12, Jesus continues to teach the people and confronting religious leaders. He tells the parable of the evil tenants, where religious leaders are portrayed as bad tenants who kill the owner's sent. Jesus is questioned by the Pharisees and the Herodians about if it is right to pay taxes to Caesar. He answers "then, to Caesar what is from Caesar and God what is of God."
