Chapter 29 of 1 Chronicles describes the generosity of David and the people of Israel in contributing to materials to the construction of the temple that his Solomon would build. Malachi 3:10: "Bring the whole tithing to the temple warehouse, so that there may be food in my house. Put me to the test," says the Lord of hosts, "and see if I won't open the heavenly floodgates and spill over You so many blessings that you will have nowhere to keep them.
