28. Please forgive the transgression of your handmaid, for the LORD shall certainly establish a lasting dynasty for my lord, because your lordship is fighting the battles of the LORD, and there is no evil to be found in you your whole life long.

1 Samuel 25 narrates the story of Abigail, wife of Nabal, a rude and foolish man who refuses to help David and his men in a moment of necessity. " Abigail demonstrates generosity and compassion by providing food and supplies to David and her men, even though he knew that her husband was a rude and foolish man.

Ecclesiastes 7:9: "Do not have a rush in your spirit to anger, because wrath rests within the fools." David shows wisdom by refusing to retaliate against Nabal and his men, although he was insulted and disrespected.

Romans 12:19: "You shall not avenge yourselves, beloved, but give the wrath of God, for it is written, My is revenge; I will reward, say the Lord." David trusts God to deal with those who offend him, instead of seeking revenge on his own.
