Daniel 6 is the chapter that narrates Daniel's story in the lions' pit. King Darius had decreed that no one could pray to any God or man other than himself, but Daniel disobeyed this order and continued to pray to God as usual. This passage encourages believers to persevere in the midst of trial and tribulation, as Daniel did in the lions' pit, remembering that God promised reward to those who love and serve him faithfully.
