13. But the king said to her, "Have no fear. What do you see?" The woman answered Saul, "I see a preternatural being rising from the earth."

Chapter 28 of 1 Samuel tells Saul's story seeking divine guidance through a necromancer, even though he himself had prohibited witchcraft in Israel.
