Jeremiah, 12

12. The devastators have arrived, over all the ways of the wilderness. For the sword of the Lord will devour, from one end of the earth even to its furthest limits. There is no peace for all that is flesh.

Jeremiah 12 deals with God's righteousness and the prophet's understanding of the suffering of the righteous before the wicked. " This verse talks about the righteousness of God, which will return to tribulation those who caused tribulation to the righteous.

James 5:7-8: "He thirsts, brothers, patients until the coming of the Lord. " James encourages patience and perseverance in moments of suffering, trusting in the coming of the Lord and his final justice.
