12. And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon that great river Euphrates; and dried up the water thereof, that a way might be prepared for the kings from the rising of the sun.

This verse remembers the water plague that became blood, which was one of the ten pests sent over Egypt as divine judgment.

Revelation 11:18: "The nations have been wrapped; and your wrath has come. The time has come to judge the dead and give reward to your servants, the prophets, the saints, and to those who fear your name, both to the little ones. to the great, and destroyed those who destroy the earth.
