1 Kings 18 narrates the confrontation between the prophet Elijah and the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel. Then Elijah makes a sacrifice to God and asks him to light the fire, which happens. After that, Elijah kills the prophets of Baal. 1 Corinthians 8:6: "But for us, there is one God, the Father, whom they are all things, and to whom we live; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, for which they are all things, and we for he."
