Joshua, 11

19. There was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, save the Hivites the inhabitants of Gibeon: all [other] they took in battle.

2 Samuel 22:47: "Long live the Lord, and blessed be my rock, and exalted be the God of my salvation." This verse speaks of worship and gratitude to God for His salvation. The Israelites could worship and thank God for the victory in the conquest of Canaan.
